Further to my last comment. The young man refused to correct the order and blamed my daughter for not “watching” what was put into the sandwiches. I hasten to add my daughter left without any sandwich or any satisfaction. I am deeply disappointed with your staff and customer service. I will NOT recommend the Whitley Bay Subway shop.

My daughter visited your shop this evening (Friday 9th October). She ordered 4 sandwiches taking advantage of the two for one sandwich offer before 7pm.The two young men were very disrespectful and treated her with very little courtesy, she actually said they had made her feel intimidated. My daughter is a quiet 17 year old. When she returned home she opened the sandwiches to find that the order was wrong. Subsequentially she rang the shop (in my presence) to let them know the order was wrong and to ask how to proceed in getting the order filled correctly. The young man said “he did not understand”. My daughter attempted to explain fully, after the explanation the answer was once again, “I don’t understand”. Because of the ignorance of the young man I had to drive my daughter down to the shop in Whitley bay to try and get her order filled correctly. I am very disappointed at the lack of service and the sub standard employees employed at the shop. We all enjoy your sandwiches but your staff are very ignorant and behave like yobbo’s when they are not supervised or when a younger person tries to place an order. I would like to hear more on this subject and would be obliged if someone in authority would be good enough to contact me, either by e-mail or directly my home phone number is : [Telephone number removed]. I visited your shop on Wed 2 september and was very dissappionted with service,firstly there only 2 choices of bread and very little in the fillings,not only that but there were no hot drinks available,i have been to subways all over the world and this is the worst i have been to.
