hello folks had a very good meal saturday 11th october at san carlos,the boss is a very welcoming person and the food is great and well priced…sirloin steak coojked perfectly //thank you joe.

I booked here for 12 of us Saturday 25th October
, the food was brilliant,
service was brilliant,
The prices too were good,
we had a great laugh too, you wouldn’t think you where in the middle of Whitley Bay.
I will definitely be back to San Carlos

Went to san carlos last sat was brilliant very authentic italian feel to the place with all the waiters speaking italian, food was outstanding prices were spot on too, will be going back very soon.

I love San Carlos, def the best Italian around here. The food is lovely and affordable, the service is fab, staff are mostly Italian and are so friendly. They all love kids so very child friendly place to go.
The atmosphere is great and the decor is superb. They have candles on all the tables and a real coal fire too. It really is fantastic. Happy hour is brill. Just £3.95 for an adult and kids eat free.

We went to san carlos on sat 4th July, Fantastic food and fantastic service we had a great time very friendly waiters will be going back very soon I hope might take the kids next time LOVELY

took the kids 1 night not go 2 to 3 times a week, food is superb so cheap and you have a good laugh with all the staff

Wont be going back, had to pay for a bottle of wine which was clearly corked. half of us ate our meal whilst the other had to wait for there steak to be cooked properly… by the time it came the other half were finished. DISASTER!!!! Not recommended….

Great place to eat, staff always friendly, good with kids, and food excellent value for price. Whether you’re going with work colleagues, friends, family, kids or just night out for two, we’ve never been dissappointed yet. You’re always looked after, without being fussed over.
Highly recommended *******

absloutely fantastic went there tonight with all our staff and had a really special night, the food was great and the staff were amazing, Jonny, Fabio, Franco and Carlos made us laugh all night, they are the best!!!! even the more snooty one’s amougst our party enjoyed themselves and they alwayscoplain every year no matter what, this year though it was unanamous, we will definatelybe back! Just got in from the restaurant now and just felt compelled to write this, it really is tht good!

26 girls had a fantastic night out here on Friday 5th February. We were made very welcome. The staff were great. The food was great. Prices very good that includes drink prices. We will be back. and everyone said they will recommend San Carlos as the place to go. 10 out of 10. Thanks Fabio and Jhonathon.

san carlos is just the best italian eatery in the north east, simple as that.
the food is superb and authentic, the service is second to none, the prices more than reasonable and the atmosphere really italian. no better place in the north east and i have live in italy!
