I wanted to add this review, especially having read the rant by GB. I go regularly to Picasso's with my family and my friends and have been going regularly since we moved to the area 8 years ago. The staff have always been so delightful, even when our children were tiny. All of our birthdays (children and adult!) are celebrated at Picasso's even if the party has been elsewhere; that is how lovely the place and the staff are! I would recommend it to anyone!

I'm very surprised at the negative comments. My family and I have been to Picasso's on a regular basis for the last 10years and we have never had a negative experience. Also, we're not 'known' and not friends with the owners, but we still get a very warm welcome.
We are going this Saturday to celebrate my parents joint 60th Birthday.
The food is lovely, and most certainly not overpriced at all.
The staff are very friendly, and warm and make you feel welcome from the moment you step in the door.

We will continue to go for at least another 10 years!

My family and I paid our first and last visit to this restaurant. We ordered from the happy hour menu and the majority of our party ordered Potato Skins, they came without a side salad, the first time this has ever happened to us in a restaurant.

The pizzas were described as salty and mushy with very little topping. One of our party did order the Lasagne which was described as 'alright'.

The drinks were very expensive two lemonades cost £6.40!!

As I stated, I will not be going back to this restaurant and I will find it very hard to provide a positive recommendation to friends and family.

My family and I have been to Picasso's many times over the years and I have always, yes always, found the food, staff and the ambience to be most enjoyable, in fact I would suggest that in terms of a really good night at the coast, this establishment will not be surpassed.

Just been to Picasso's for a birthday meal for my 8 year old daughter. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and accepting of children, in fact there was another large party in with a table of approx 8 children all sitting together.

We told the staff that it was our daughter's birthday and when they served her her dessert they turned down the lights, played happy birthday through the speakers and three of the waiters/waitresses sang Happy Birthday to her.

We had her 4 year old brother with us and as soon as we were sat at the table a poster and colouring crayons were brought over to keep them both entertained.

The food was incredible, I have not been for over 6 years, so it is now under new ownership and can definitely say that the food is a good now as it was then.

I can't see how this place has had bad reviews as above, as I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Definitely a nice friendly Italian Restaurant, well worth a visit.
