Have been to Pan e Vinos many times and enjoyed the food but our last visit was definitely not up to scratch. Extremely understaffed, with the main course taking around 50 minutes to reach our table. The food itself was also definitely below par, with starters arriving cold when meant to be warm and what can only be described as soggy rice in the place of a risotto. This however was dealt with well by the staff who replaced it with a lasagne quite promptly, yet we were still charged the higher risotto price. Sauce that came with the duck was nothing better than a standard chinese takeaway sweet and sour, certainly not as the menu described! We will definitely think twice about returning.

Too cramped, too loud (don’t expect to have any conversation unless using megaphones!) and so-so service. The waitresses were lovely but the manageress was very rude. Booked a table in advance and still had to wait for an hour – surely that defeats the object of booking ahead! When asking politely for an update we were spoken to like rubbish from the manager.
