Sorry to disagree, but very disappointed at todays effort. wasted £7 on really small amount of curry sauce on an overcooked & dried out 4″ piece of sausage, plus two dried up remnants that might have been cod originally. mushy peas that were like the peter kay sketch “nowt moist”. Apart from half a dozen chips, it hit the bin. suspect it was end of the lunchtime close to closing, so try & hit it mid session.

Seashells is the best fish and chip I have ever been to.
There is a wide range on the menu including pizzas, chicken, kebabs as well as the standard chip shop food. They will nearly always have at least 5 varieties of fish and the food is always perfect.
They even have a tv for when you are waiting, but I rarely get to watch it because they serve so quickly that I get to the front in no time, even when the queue is out the door!
Definitely a five stars!

The chips at seashells taste good,though sometimes I find the chips slightly dry so I like to add curry or gravy to mine I honestly prefer the arcade as they taste more richer and arn’t dry.The fish at Seashells is ample in size but costs £5 so I wish they offered a smaller size then a giant fish.There popular amongst locals though the Arcade fish restaurant offers a friendly place to sit and eat for more affordable prices.Seashells is a happy chip shop but it chips are too dry and not chip shoppy.Although it is a sleek fish and chip shop even fitted with a flat screen tv to customers and attractive tillings.
I would give it 3 stars out of 5
