The Arcade Fish restaurant brings back the true rich taste of British fish and chips.Inside there decor is homely and staff happily on tap to deliver tasty battered goods fast.There food is flawless and the best tasting unlike its other competitors the arcade
is generous in portions and includes batter.They even offer battered snicker bars and also sell a cone of chips for less than 80p if you just want a quick snack.There a great chip shop and restaurant rolled into one they will not let any customer down weither they order chips,battered fish cakes,pizza Your guaranteed every mouth full will taste utterly scrumptous and tasty.
10/10 Well deserved!your really missing out if you don’t try food from this chip shop!

Best chippy in Whitley Bay. Mushy peas are proper and not the tinned variety that you get everywhere else. Cannie lush

disapointing fish and chips, the fish had large bones in. if you sit upstairs the food is transported from the downstairs by a pully system (a tray on an old rope). However, the cheapest chippy we found in whitley bay.

Was recommended to me but found it less than Ave. Nothing special and no great taste. The fish had large bones and was battered with the skin on.

Fantastic place, warm atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff! Visited the Arcade’s dozens of times during my year’s stay in Whitley Bay in 2010 and miss it very much now.

best in whitley by far no1 can beat this place anymore pantrinis used to be the best but they are more about making as much money as possible now and not making good food

Smallest haddock I’ve ever seen batter made it look bigger
I’m sure fish had been frozen
Chips soggy in plate of grease
£5-25 expensive for what you get
Left all chips & batter off fish server never questioned why just not interested

Woman behind the counter was eating the chips, not very comforting she touched my food afterwards , chips were brown and like cardboard , ended up leaving them , cheese savoury was lovely coz I was freshly made to order , over all my order at lunchtime is unusual as we would normally order for our tea once a month , I was disappointed , but every other time I have had something it’s been ok . But will not be ordering again from the arcade chippy .

- Steven: Staff disruptive and loud shouting and being abusive towards eachother noise levels too high will not be returning this is a disgrace
- Sophie: Manager came into the shop and was being very distresfectful whilst customers were in the shop, we couldnt enjoy are meal with the level of noise and
