Best chinese in Whitley. Prawn toast is amazing value and really really good. Such a refreshing change in Whitley Bay, where takeaways think they’ve got your custom and can deliver e-coli laden rubbish to your door and complain when they don’t get a tip. Dimitri’s you know who you are.

If you like food then look elsewhere. If you like bland chewy frozen gunk then you may have found the place of your dreams. 5 dishes from hell and caused a big arguement with the missus. Avoid at all costs.

I had a takeaway tonight from here and I must say it took 1 hour and a half to get here, the food was cold, the beef didnt taste right at all, and the seaweed was foul. I would definitley stay clear of this awful takeaway. I will probably get food poisoning tommorow, hope not tho. Sorry for be to truthful but it was really bad and I dont have money to waste on awful food. really really dreadful

The quality of the food was very good, I very much enjoyed my beef with mushrooms with fried rice. The amount of choice on the menu is fantastic, you´ll never be without a choice that´ll suit you, plus free prawn crackers are included with the delivery – would definitely eat from there again!

Just ordered Sesame prawn toast as I was a bit hungry. I Love Sesame prawn toast but not this one. It was thick toast no prawn at all, was like eating fried bread and I paid £3.80 for it. Full of oil and no taste. While I was there a customer rang up complaining her food was cold and it had just been delivered. She didnt say sorry ones she said to customer and said what would you like me to do! My 1st time and my last. Not happy and i only ordered a starter.

Wasn’t very impressed really. The crispy chilli beef was weirdly chewy, seriously it disturbed me it really shouldnt have been chewy to the extent it was, plus the taste wasnt that great either thinking about it. Above’s description of the prawn toast couldn’t have been more correct it was full of oil and no prawns waiting inside, I was quite disapointed by that. The rest managed to be average
They did deliver in 40mins which they said they would when i ordered it though so thats something, but I will not be ordering again. Score = 4/10
