Well …. you did it again! Another triumphant evening enjoyed by all! I am so glad I was able to participate, as I had thought I would not be able to come!

We look forward now to January 30th…I hope more people will adopt 20s dress code this time!

The worst place I’ve ever been. Went for Sunday dinner, took 2 and a half hours to be served 2 courses, and we were the lucky ones. About 6 tables walked out while we were there, with no refund offered, the manager was really ignorant. Food was terrible when it arrived, most people had to ask for it to be microwaved , got eton mess for desert but it was just vanilla icecream with a couple of pieces of dried strawberry on top. I can’t say enough how terrible this place is, I’ve never written a review before but I just felt like I had to warn people to stay away!

Having just had Sunday lunch I felt I had to leave comments at how disappointing this experience was. The interior is lovely with a fab view. The food was worst I’ve ever had, it was lukewarm vegetables were soggy and there was no mashed potato even though it was stated on the menu. When I queried this the waitress said there was none left which was strange as this is not self service so there should have been equal amounts of potatoes and veg. The diet coke was completely flat. I chose not to bother with dessert as I just wanted to leave. I passed on my comments but unfortunately it fell on deaf eats as I don’t think anyone was bothered. I work in customer service and would be very upset if my customers were receiving this poor level of service. I understand on occasions things don’t go as planned, but the waitresses should have explained that food had run out and then I could have made a choice as to whether I stayed before ordering.

Terrible. You could use the steak to sole your shoes ! Chips were raw in the middle, as were the onion rings. Mediterranean roast vegetables !! we were actually served chopped iceberg lettuce and raw red pepper ! Service was terrible. Toilets did not have any toilet roll nor hand towels. We came away hungry & disappointed Never again.

Having read the most recent reviews I was regretting buy a groupon voucher for here. However we were served our starter within 10 minutes of ordering and the main followed with no delay. The food was adequate and the staff were efficient and friendly. Didn’t visit the toilets so can’t comment on that one.

Been to the Boardwalk… just yesterday, regarding food, edible. My main problem this is the 3rd time I have been & experianced changes in prices of drinks, even though you order the same drinks. Beware & complain. Example, 1 pint john Smiths & a Pint lager shandy.
1st cost… £5.30
2nd cost… £5.60
3rd…cost…£6.00
4th & last… we left ! £6.60 Shame !!

I took my 5 year old daughter for sunday lunch along with my 11 week old little girl and found the staff couldnt have been more helpful. Although it was busy i didnt want to take the baby out of her pram as she would of woke up and made it harder for me to eat, the staff were more than happy to move chairs and tables around to make room. They were very polite and couldnt do enough to help. The food was served very quickly and they made the lunch that my daughter asked for as she can be a fussy eater. The lunch was a lovely portion and very tasty. Very good value for money and will definately going back.

With 2 groupons, went with friends on 16th June and had a lovely meal. My husband had shark, the rest of us had sirloin. This was the best steak I’ve ever had. We found the staff very attentive and friendly.Just returned from holiday and read the comments felt I had to add mine. Can not wait to return to try the cheese and broccolli bake at lunch time, my favorite.

I went with my partner last week for a Greek meal. The food was delicious, the portion size was good and meal very tasty.
The waiter explained what each dish was and ensured that we were looked after. The room is very welcoming and warm, especially on a cold and wet evening. The music was very tasteful.
I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for good food and a very comfortable atmosphere.

We spent New Year’s Eve 2011 at The Boardwalk and had a thoroughly lovely evening!
Food was good, enought to eat and it was hot!
Entertainment was good, the artists encouraged us to get up and dance which we did and all in all it was a lovely evening.
At 12 o’ clock the manager and staff helped everyone light their chinese lanterns we had been given and everyone made their own private wishes for the New Year. We then watched fireworks being set off by people in nearby homes, fantastic!

Been there a few times for birthdays and other parties and recently visited for Sunday lunch and then to try their Greek meals. Service is efficient, better at the parties and weekends but generally attentive and friendly. Some food, especially from their Greek menu is excellent, also some of their bistro food is definitely worth of trying, especially (giant) fish and chips.
Nice place to go whether you’re walking on the beach or just looking for restaurant. They do free wifi which is a big plus in my case as I need to stay connected and my mobile internet tends to fail while on the beach.

I have recently visited The Boardwalk for my friend’s Birthday Party and we have enjoyed every moment there. The hosts are lovely, the DJ played our favorite songs. They have provided us with fantastic buffet and the drinks are relatively cheap.
The place is on the beach that makes the party even better.
Defo recommended for wine, dine and dance.

  • Steven: Staff disruptive and loud shouting and being abusive towards eachother noise levels too high will not be returning this is a disgrace
  • Sophie: Manager came into the shop and was being very distresfectful whilst customers were in the shop, we couldnt enjoy are meal with the level of noise and
  • Richard: Very disappointing, except for the boiled rice and spare ribs. In particular batter too thick, duck not crispy, and I have never had "spam" in Singa
