Down Under is a little gem of a cafe/restaurant serving a wide range of food, with the emphasis on tex-mex, thai and a wide selection of imaginative vegetarian choices.
Get there early on a weekend and get the seat in the window - great views of the sea, particularly on a wild windy night - if it's not already booked.
The food is great and very modestly priced. The portions are meant for hungery people and not for anyone on a diet! The quaility is in both the freshness of the produce used and the cooking. The only downside is you can wait a little while, so although the portions are large, best order a starter to have while you wait for your main course. Oh and the music, if a bit weird at times, is great fun.
