Cibo is a tasty treasure to monkseaton providing hearty sandwiches to locals with an assortment of fillings:tikka chicken,classic BLT,cornation chicken over 20 flavours.These sandwhichs are filled to the brim with flavour and you can even personalise your sandwhich with what type of bread you want,salad or none.These fancy trimmings come at no extra cost sandwichs are only £2 though they are worth there weight in gold.Cibo doesn’t only specialise in sandwich making there magic is mirrored in the delicious desserts that are traditionally homebaked on the premises following a closely guarded recipe caramel shortcakes,malteaser cakes and cookies all delicious are generously offered to customers at fair prices.After chomping such marvelous food! you may want to purchase a warm cup of hot chocolate though Cibo caters for the customers needs and has the classic choices of tea and coffee along with a vast range of tasty fresh smoothies which are made on the spot when ordered!If your only calling for a quick drop in there are bottles of water availble and other pure fruit juices you also don’t have to sit in to eat as your chosen food is parcled lovingly in a paper brown bag to seal its freshness.A little cosy cafe like Cibo on its own offers much bigger and better things then giants such as subway which only offer salty mass produced re heated goods.

I would recommend Cibo to anyone it has great food and great staff and great prices, so if you are around the Whitley Bay area I would go if I was you!

The sandwiches are delicious but REALLY, REALLY big. The smoothies are vile. Lots of sour natural yogurt and fruit flavouring. Nasty.

I love Cibo. Great smoothies and juices. You can watch them being made, and made to your taste.
